Mario has been a staple of gaming since 1981 when he first appeared in the original Donkey Kong. As of right now, and not including the new Super Mario Odyssey being released for the new Nintendo Switch (which I am super stoked about, by the way) there have been over 250 games that Mario has been in, with about 150 of those games being Mario specific games.
Again, that doesn’t include the various movies, TV shows, comics, manga, books, and all the merchandise that comes with Mario. Sometimes you need to play Mario at school or work, but can’t because it is blocked. Check out this article to learn how to play Unfair Mario, as well as other Mario games unblocked.
Who is Mario?
Mario is an Italian plumber who is constantly having to rescue his woman, Princess Peach (although he originally had to rescue Pauline in Donkey Kong). He has a twin brother, Luigi, who many younger siblings had to play as, causing rifts within the family. No one wants to be the green Mario, plain and simple.
While playing Mario can be pretty darn frustrating, it doesn’t quite come to the level of frustration there is with the game Unfair Mario. Unfair Mario has hidden traps everywhere, and it is damn near impossible to complete a level without rage quitting and dying at least 20 times. I’m a pretty hardcore gamer myself and I died 40 times before I could make it to level 2. I don’t think that my score is great in any means, but it does show the difficulties of the game. While it isn’t an official Mario game, it is definitely a game that Mario fans might want to give it a shot at.
The purpose of this article is to show you where find Unfair Mario unblocked, and I will also give you some links so you can play Mario unblocked.
What Does Being Blocked Mean?
So just what does it mean to have a website or game that is blocked? Let’s quickly go over it:
A company (be it a school, workplace, store, hospital, etc.) might block certain websites like social media sites, YouTube, websites with online games, Netflix, and sites of that sort because you theoretically won’t need to access them while at school or work. If you are looking at this article then I’m going to venture a guess that you are blocked from playing Unfair Mario, but fear not, I can help you out with that.
There are ways to work around blocked websites, and they actually aren’t that hard to figure it out. All you need to do is Google “unblock websites” or “how to access blocked websites” and follow any of the guides and articles that pop up in that search. The website Tweak and Trick has a pretty in depth article about gaining access to blocked websites (which can be found here), so you might want to check them out.
How to Play Unfair Mario
While playing Unfair Mario is frustrating, it isn’t a difficult game to play. Here are the controls using the arrow buttons:
- Right arrow: move forwards
- Left arrow: move backwards
- Up arrow: jump
- Space bar: continue after death
Now that you know the controls the next thing to figure out is just how to play this frustrating game. Every few steps you take in the game you will run into a trap of some sort. You are going to have to remember where each trap is each time you die, because you will die multiple times. You will have to remember to avoid each trap and keep them all straight as you carefully make your way through the levels. If you never die once you should really get some lottery tickets because you are definitely lucky. It isn’t possible, but it would still be pretty cool.
This game will probably cause you to rage, but it is pretty fun if you get over the initial frustration of constant death. This game is definitely a test of your memory, which is why I died 40 times before fully passing the first level. There are multiple levels, so you won’t run out of levels to play anytime soon.
How to Find Unfair Mario Unblocked
There are quite a few websites that claim to be able to play Unfair Mario totally unblocked. Here are a few:
- Unblocked Games 500 (click here)
- Unblocked Life (click here)
- Unblocked Games 77 (click here)
- Unblocked Games VEVO (click here)
- Mills Eagles (click here)
- Unblocked Games Weebly (click here)
From what I can tell the sites don’t seem malicious, but just in case make sure that you have your virus protection turned on. All of these Unfair Mario sites are all the same game, so you aren’t playing a cheap knockoff of Unfair Mario. If you wanted to go through a different site, or maybe one of the ones above don’t work for you, or if you just wanted to search for yourself just Google “Unfair Mario unblocked” and you can find a bunch of different options to choose from.
Other Unblocked Games
Luckily it is pretty easy to find an unblocked site to play Unfair Mario, so you should be able to play it with no problem while you are at school or work.
If you are wanting to play something else, there are a lot of unblocked games that you can find easily on the internet. You can even play games like Halo, Flappy Bird, Donkey Kong, Pacman, Minecraft, and honestly just about any other game you can think of. All you need to do is Google “Unblocked games” and you can find a bunch of different websites and games that you can play that are totally unblocked.
Do be careful about what sites you are entering because they might have some malicious cookies and viruses on them. Unblocked Games 500 (which can be found here) has a bunch of different games on it and seems to be fairly reliable in terms of safety. They even have Call of Duty mini games, as well as Grand Theft Auto mini games (which might not be appropriate in school).
Other Mario Games That Are Unblocked
If you are a Mario fan then you also have other Mario games you can play that are also unblocked. Let’s go over some of them:
Super Mario Flash Unblocked
You can check out this unblocked Mario game from Unblocked Games For School here.
This is basically Super Mario Bros and it is really cool to play, it will really take you back to playing it when you were a kid (unless you are a high school student playing this, in which case you’re still pretty young). One of the coolest parts of this game is the level creator. You can make your own level, and make it as challenging as you want and there are many items that you can include in your own level. It is really fun and makes the game that much more personal.
Super Mario Bros Crossover Unblocked
You can check out this awesome game from Flash Gaming Weebly here.
Out of everything on this list, this is my personal favorite. Not only do you get to play Mario, you can actually choose your character from a bunch of different retro games, such as: Link (from Legend of Zelda), Mega Man (from Mega Man), Mario (does he really need an intro?), Samus (from Metroid), Bill R. (from Contra), and Simon (from Castlevania). For a retro gaming geek, this is heaven., What’s even cooler is that each of the characters have their own special attack, so each of the characters are unique and therefore the game is somewhat unique. The game runs incredibly well and it looks great. You will definitely enjoy this game if you are a fan of retro gaming.
Super Mario Bros Flash 2
You can check out Super Mario Flash 2 from Unblocked Games 76 here.
This is Super Mario 2 essentially, so the colors are a bit brighter and more vibrant, and you get to play with the lovable Yoshi. Again, just like the previous games, this one really takes you back to playing this as a kid sitting way too close to the TV. As a kid I loved Yoshi, so it is really cool to see him make an appearance again. If you have ever played Super Mario 2 then you will definitely want to check this game out.
Super Mario World Flash
You can check out Super Mario World Flash from Unblocked Games here.
This is obviously Super Mario World but unblocked. The game play is easy enough to get into (although I don’t like how they used A to jump instead of space or the up arrow), although I will say it is difficult to actually see the game because the window for it is so small. It is definitely possible that I might be the only one having that problem, but it is worth noting. The game does look very nice, and they did a good job making it run pretty seamlessly.
